All AICI members have the honor and benefit of showing current and potential clients that they subscribe to the high standards set by AICI . Certification is the single most important accomplishment that Consultants can work towards, that will inevitably provide a foundation for their growing business. As a superb marketing tool it also distinguishes an AICI member from their competition, building on the integrity of our industry representatives.
Membership designations also ensure that you have contracted a member that ascribes to a higher level of education; these are the experts to call when you need a speaker, workshop leader, trainer or media representative.

ADVANCED MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

The AICI First Level of Certification requires passing a written examination covering the fundamental - and basic - issues every image consultant must know. It addresses the essential elements of visual, verbal, and nonverbal aspects of image consulting. This exam is very similar to those offered by the majority of professional associations. Unlike the CIP Application, there are no pre-existing requirements of work and formal educational/training experience, any entrepreneur or corporate employee working in the field of image consulting or related field may apply for the FLC examination. Privileges: may use the AICI logo, put the designation "AICI" after the name, must complete 3 CEUs within every most recent 4 years period in order to maintain their FLC status.
For example:
